Nowadays, the laser radar which is also known as the AGV lidar that is commonly used to help avoiding the obstacle or dangerous area automatically during products transmission. For the sick accuracy obstacle avoidance lidar, it is mainly combined with the laser technology and the radar technology that consists of a transmitter, an antenna, a receiver, a tracking frame and the information processing section. The antenna of robot avoidance laser radar is an optical telescope and the receiver adopts various forms of photodetector. The Lidar system consists of a single beam and a receiver system. The laser of the AGV lidar generates and emits a pulse of light that strikes the object and bounces back, it is eventually picked up by the receiver. The receiver accurately measures the travel time of the light pulse afterwards. The laser radar can scan and measure the obstacle through infrared lenses to form 3D cloud data to assist the robot for determining the position.

 

 

As this obstacle avoidance lidar, it works based on the principle of optical two-dimensional scanning and laser testing to achieve two-position area protection with the maximum 15 meters and 190 degrees for angle. The defense zone of AGV lidar includes protection zone and alarm zone. The maximum radius of the protection zones are optional that are 4 meters, 5 meters and 6 meters. It can detect the dark black object with the reflectivity as low as 1.8%. The maximum radius of the laser radar's alarm zone is 15 meters, it is able to detect the objects with the reflectivity as high as 20%.

 

 

Except for that, we produce mini lidar which can achieve the range of 270 degrees and the radius of 3 meters as the two-digit area detection and shape scanning. It has compact and flexible structure with accurate and cost effective performance. The overall size of the mini lidar is 8CM*8CM*9.5CM. It is the first level laser product which is harmless to human eyes and has the function of window contamination detection. The mini lidar's output can be cut off automatically when the actual detection distance dose not reach the standard protection distance.
